Teresa Joelson

Teresa Joelson holds the Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC®) designation and a Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor registration. She has 21 years of experience in the wealth management industry. A native Texan, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University. Teresa relocated to New Braunfels from Austin, TX, to be closer to family and to work with a Christian-based firm. She has been with Christian Financial Advisors for 8 years. Prior to joining CFA, she worked at Durbin Bennett Wealth Management, where she worked closely with the advisory team and was responsible for client administrative procedures. Teresa oversees account operational and processing procedures — including account setup and the daily inflow and outflow of trading funds — to keep account balances on target. She's also responsible for quarterly billing and works closely with Shawn, Bob, and Matthew on investment strategy implementation. Away from work, Teresa loves spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren in New Braunfels. She also enjoys being outdoors, playing tennis or pickleball, jogging, walking, and working out. She attends Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church and actively participates in the Mobile Loaves and Fishes, St. Vincent de Paul, and Helping Hands ministries.
